living arts festival

I live in a small town. Actually, I live in the hills outside of a small town in rural Vermont. No matter. It still supports a thriving artist community, helping the state to maintain its status as having the highest percentage of artists per capita of any of the 50 states – it’s true!

Today was the date for the annual Living Arts Festival, sponsored by Huntington Valley Arts. With photographs, jewelry, textile arts (silk painting, weaving, knitting), painting, and all kinds of food artisanry, the field at Jubilee Farm was filled with friends and neighbors (and chickens – lots of chickens) all coming together for the first festival of fall.
