busy as a spider spinning daydreams

March 14, 2010

It’s feeling like spring.

Since the annual January thaw stuck around for all of February, we’ve even had a good long time to get used to the idea of mud season this year.

So, while we wait for that last blizzard to topple the tulips and flatten the pansies, we’ll play along this week on World of Music, stripping off the down-fill and dancing around in shirtsleeves with lighthearted sounds from the Ukulele Club de Paris, Suriname, the Andes, and with a couple of hot new gypsy jazz recordings.

World of Music is a newly shorn, mud-shunning, springy bouquet of blues, poetry, jazz, and world music every Monday from 3-5pm ET on the Radiator.  Online, or at 105.9FM if you’re listening in Burlington, VT.
