There’s nothing like a visit to a Newbury Comics store to break the budget. In fact, there are few stores anymore that are anything like the good old-fashioned CD and LP browsing experience Newbury offers.

This week’s World of Music features many of the treasures found on a recent visit to Newbury Comics in Harvard Square. Traditional Russian balalaika music? Got it.  Norteño music from Mexico’s own Beto y sus Canarios? Check. And, we’ll hear from a couple of hot classics from the legendary Fania recording label.
